Accessibility Statement

Effective August 1, 2026 • Version 1.1

Our Commitment

Woof World, LLC is committed to making woofworld.com, my.woofworld.com, and our related sites and services (collectively, the “Site”) usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We want everyone who loves dogs to be able to enter our contests, take part in our community, and use everything we offer.

Standard We’re Working Toward

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the widely accepted standard for making web content accessible to people with a broad range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. We test, we find problems, and we fix them. Parts of the Site do not yet fully conform, and we are working on them.

What We’re Doing

Our accessibility work includes:

  • Building pages that work with screen readers and other assistive technology
  • Making the Site navigable using only a keyboard
  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and background
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Using clear headings and consistent page structure
  • Designing forms with labels and clear error messages
  • Making the Site usable at increased text sizes and on a range of screen sizes
  • Considering accessibility when we add features or change designs

Known Limitations

We want to be straightforward about where we fall short.

  • Video content. Contest entries and other videos are submitted by our members. We do not control how they are produced, and most do not include captions or audio description. We provide the entrant’s own description where available and are exploring options for improving this.
  • Third-party content and tools. Some parts of the Site rely on services provided by other companies, including our community platform, payment processing, and embedded content. We do not control their accessibility, though we raise issues with them when we find them.
  • Older content. Some material published before our current standards may not fully conform. We update it as we identify problems.

Tell Us About a Problem

If you run into a barrier anywhere on the Site, we want to hear about it. Please contact us with:

  • The page or feature where you had trouble
  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened
  • The assistive technology, browser, or device you were using, if you’re able to share it

Getting Help Another Way

If a part of the Site isn’t working for you, contact us and we will help you complete what you were trying to do through another method — including entering a contest, casting a vote, managing your account, or making a purchase — by phone or email.

We will not treat you differently, charge you more, or limit what’s available to you because you need an alternative method.

Formal Complaints

If you have contacted us about an accessibility barrier and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate by writing to legal@woofworld.com with the subject line “Accessibility Complaint.” Include a description of the barrier, the date you first contacted us, and the response you received. A member of our leadership will review the matter and respond in writing.

Changes

We may update this Statement as our accessibility work continues. When we do, we will update the version number and effective date above.
