ENTERING THE CONTEST

Make Me Laugh™ is Woof World’s national fan-voted video contest celebrating America’s
funniest dogs. It’s your dog’s chance to become America’s next canine superstar, compete for
cash prizes and bring smiles to dog lovers across the country. Every entry also helps support
participating animal rescue organizations—so every laugh makes a difference.

Anyone who is a legal U.S. resident (including Washington, D.C.) and at least 13 years old may
enter. Participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Yes. Contestants and voters must create a free Woof World account. Having an account lets
you submit entries, vote, track your favorite dogs, receive contest updates, and enjoy future
Woof World experiences and events.

Entering is easy! Simply:

    1. Pay the $15 entry fee.
    2. Complete the entry form.
    3. Upload your funniest dog video.
    4. Submit your entry.
    5. Wait for your submission to be approved.
    6. Once your entry is approved, share your personal contestant page and encourage your friends, family and followers to vote when voting opens.

Your $15 entry includes:

  • Entry into the MAKE ME LAUGH™ Contest
  • Your own personal contestant page to share with friends and family
  • The opportunity to win cash prizes
  • A $5 contribution to participating animal rescue organizations

Every dog requires its own registration, video submission, and entry fee.

Yes! You may enter multiple dogs, but each dog must have its own registration, video
submission and entry fee.

Absolutely! The contest is fully mobile-friendly. You can register, upload your video, vote and
share your personal contestant page from your phone, tablet or computer.

Videos must:

  • Feature a real dog
  • Be original or submitted with permission
  • Be 60 seconds or less
  • Be funny, entertaining and family-friendly
  • Not include copyrighted content you don’t have permission to use
  • Not contain AI-generated or heavily manipulated footage

Accepted formats include MP4, MOV, AVI, and MPEG.

Every entry is reviewed to make sure it follows our contest guidelines and provides a safe, fair,
and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Our team reviews every submission as quickly as possible. Most submissions are reviewed and
approved within 1–2 business days.

Once approved, you’ll receive an email with your personal contestant page. You can begin
sharing your page right away so your supporters are ready to vote when the voting period
begins.

Yes. You can edit or replace your submission any time before voting begins. Once voting
starts, all approved entries are locked and can no longer be changed to ensure a fair
competition for everyone.

VOTING

The contest has two phases:

  • Entry Period: Submit your funniest dog video.
  • Voting Period: Once entries close, public voting begins and every contestant starts
    the voting period with zero votes, giving everyone the same opportunity to compete.

Anyone with a free Woof World account can vote.
Every registered user receives one free vote each day during the voting period. Free votes
reset daily and don’t roll over if unused.
Additional Vote Bundles are also available for purchase throughout the contest.

Yes! If you have a verified Woof World account, you’re welcome to cast your free daily vote for
your own dog and encourage others to support you, too.

The best way to earn more votes is to actively share your personal contest link throughout the
voting period.
Here are a few ideas:

  • Share your personal contestant page on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social
    platforms.
  • Send your contest link to friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.
  • Ask supporters to come back every day and use their free daily vote
  • Share your dog’s story, personality, and funniest moments.
  • Post regular updates as the contest progresses.

The more people who discover your video and return to vote, the better your chances of
climbing the leaderboard.

During the voting period, you can check your dog’s current position on the public leaderboard.
Rankings update periodically and remain unofficial until all votes have been verified after voting
closes.

WINNING & PRIZES

Winners are determined solely by the number of eligible verified votes received during the
voting period. This is a fan-voted contest—winners are never selected at random.

Guaranteed prizes include:

  • 🥇 First Place — $5,000
  • 🥈 Second Place — $500
  •  � Third Place — $250

As more dogs enter the contest, additional $100 cash prizes are unlocked—creating even more
winners.

If your dog wins, we’ll contact you using the email associated with your Woof World account with
instructions on how to verify your eligibility and claim your prize. Winners will also be announced
on the Woof World website and our official social media channels.

If there’s a tie for First, Second, or Third Place after vote verification, the tied entries will
compete in a special 48-hour tie-breaker voting round.

CONTEST RULES

Yes. You retain ownership of your video. By entering, you simply grant Woof World permission
to use it to promote the contest and future Woof World initiatives

No. Entry fees and Vote Bundle purchases are generally non-refundable except where required
by applicable law.
