NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO VOTE. VOTING IS FREE. NO VOTES ARE SOLD IN THIS CONTEST. A PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 

THESE OFFICIAL RULES CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION AND A CLASS ACTION WAIVER IN SECTION 25, WHICH AFFECT HOW DISPUTES ARE RESOLVED.

1. Nature of the Contest

1.1 These Official Rules (the “Rules”) govern the Woof World Make Me Laugh Contest (the “Contest”), a national, fan-voted dog video competition operated by Woof World, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Woof World,” “Sponsor,” “we,” or “us”).

1.2 The Contest is a skill- and merit-based competition. Winners are determined solely by the number of Eligible Votes an Entry receives during the Voting Period. Outcomes are based on Votes received and are not determined by random selection, drawing, lot, or chance of any kind.

1.3 The Contest is not a lottery, raffle, sweepstakes, or game of chance and is not intended to constitute gambling. Because the winner is determined by Votes — a measurable, non-random outcome — rather than by chance, the Contest charges an Entry Fee as described in these Rules.

1.4 Voting is free. No Votes are sold in this Contest, and no payment of any kind is accepted in exchange for Votes. Voting and entering are separate activities: Voters do not enter the Contest and are not eligible to win any Prize.

1.5 The Contest is void where prohibited and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

2. Definitions

• “Affiliate” — any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Sponsor.
• “Dog” — a single dog entered into the Contest; each Dog requires its own Entry and Entry Fee.
• “Entry” — a Video submitted on behalf of one Dog, with completed registration and paid Entry Fee.
• “Entrant” — an individual who submits an Entry and meets the eligibility requirements in Section 4.
• “Minor Entrant” — an Entrant at least 13 years of age but under 18.
• “Parent/Guardian” — a parent or legal guardian who provides consent for a Minor Entrant under Section 5.
• “Rescue Entry” — an Entry submitted by a foster caregiver on behalf of an owning Rescue Organization under Section 6.
• “Rescue Organization” — a rescue organization, shelter, or similar entity that owns a Dog entered as a Rescue Entry.
• “Vote” — a single recorded expression of support for an Entry.
• “Eligible Vote” — a Vote validated by Sponsor and not removed under Section 12.
• “Bonus Vote” — a Vote credited to an Entry under Section 11 through sharing and referral activity.
• “Voter” — a registered user eligible to cast Votes under Section 10.
• “Entry Period” — the period during which Entries may be submitted (Section 3).
• “Voting Period” — the period during which Votes may be cast (Section 3).
• “Minimum Entry Threshold” — 575 Eligible Entries, as described in Section 8.
• “Prize Pool” — the funds allocated to Prizes under Section 14.
• “Released Parties” — Sponsor, its Affiliates, and contest sponsors, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns.

3. Contest Period

3.1 The Contest consists of an Entry Period followed by a separate Voting Period. All times are Eastern Time. Woof World’s computer is the official timekeeping device.

3.2 Entry Period. The Entry Period opens September 1, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. and closes September 30, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m., subject to extension under Section 8. Videos may be submitted only during the Entry Period, and no voting occurs during it.

3.3 Voting Period. The Voting Period opens October 1, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. and closes October 21, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m., a period of twenty-one (21) days. No new Entries are accepted during the Voting Period, and Votes cast after it closes are not counted.

3.4 All Entries begin the Voting Period with zero Votes, other than Bonus Votes credited under Section 11, so that every Entry competes over the same voting window regardless of when it was submitted.

3.5 Because the Entry Period may be extended under Section 8, the dates of the Voting Period may shift accordingly. Dates identified in advertising or promotional materials are anticipated dates and are not commitments. Final dates will be posted on the official Contest website and communicated to registered Entrants by email.

3.6 Winner Announcement. Sponsor anticipates announcing winners on or about October 29, 2026, following the verification process in Section 13.4. This date is anticipated and may be adjusted.

4. Eligibility

4.1 Entry is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia at the time of entry.

4.2 Entrants must be at least thirteen (13) years of age at the time of entry and must hold a Woof World account in good standing.

4.3 A Minor Entrant may enter only with Parent/Guardian consent obtained and confirmed before the Entry is submitted, under Section 5. An Entry submitted by or for a Minor Entrant without confirmed consent is void.

4.4 Each Entrant must be the sole owner of each Dog entered or, where a Dog is co-owned, must hold the authority of every co-owner. Entries submitted by foster caregivers on behalf of a Rescue Organization are governed by Section 6. Each Entrant must hold all rights necessary to submit the Video and grant the license in Section 19.

4.5 Entrants may enter more than one Dog. Each Dog requires a separate registration and Entry Fee. Only one Entry per Dog is permitted; submitting multiple Entries for the same Dog, whether under one account or several, is grounds for disqualification of all such Entries.

4.6 Ineligible Persons

The Contest is not open to:

• Woof World, LLC, its parent, subsidiaries, and Affiliates, and their respective members, managers, officers, directors, employees, and independent contractors;
• Any sponsor of the Contest and its officers, employees, and agents;
• Any advertising, marketing, promotional, fulfillment, judging, or technology vendor engaged in connection with the Contest, and their respective officers, employees, and agents; and
• The immediate family members and household members of any person described above.

“Immediate family member” means a spouse, domestic partner, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, sibling, or stepsibling. “Household member” means any person residing at the same address, whether or not related.

A Dog owned or co-owned by any ineligible person is not eligible for entry, and any Entry submitted on behalf of such a Dog will be disqualified. If a Prize is awarded before ineligibility is discovered, the recipient must return the Prize or repay its value, and Sponsor may award it to the next eligible Entry or withhold it entirely.

5. Parental or Guardian Consent

5.1 Before a Minor Entrant’s Entry is accepted, a Parent/Guardian must review these Rules and provide consent on the Minor Entrant’s behalf through the registration process at the time of entry.

5.2 By providing consent, the Parent/Guardian, on behalf of both themselves and the Minor Entrant:

• Agrees to and is bound by these Rules;
• Grants the content license in Section 19 and the publicity rights in Section 20, and confirms authority to do so;
• Makes the representations and warranties in Section 9, including ownership or legal guardianship of the Dog;
• Accepts the releases, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-resolution and arbitration terms in Sections 20 and 22 through 25;
• Authorizes payment of the Entry Fee, which must be made using a payment method belonging to the Parent/Guardian; and
• Agrees to act on the Minor Entrant’s behalf for winner verification, required documents, and Prize payment under Sections 15 and 16.

5.3 Sponsor may require reasonable verification of the Parent/Guardian’s identity and authority and may reject or disqualify any Entry for which valid consent is not provided or verifiable.

5.4 Consent Capture and Records

Guardian consent is obtained through a separate guardian sign-off step at the time of entry, not a single bundled checkbox, in which the Parent/Guardian provides their name, email address, and relationship to the Minor Entrant, affirms their authority, and accepts these Rules on the Minor Entrant’s behalf. Sponsor sends a confirmation email to the Parent/Guardian’s email address and records the date, time, and IP address of the consent. Sponsor retains each consent record for at least five (5) years and, for a Minor Entrant, until the Minor Entrant reaches the age of majority plus the applicable limitation period.

ANY PRIZE AWARDED TO AN ENTRY SUBMITTED BY A MINOR ENTRANT IS PAYABLE SOLELY TO THE CONSENTING PARENT OR GUARDIAN, who is the Prize recipient for all purposes including tax reporting. No Prize will be paid directly to a Minor Entrant. Payment to the Parent/Guardian discharges Sponsor’s Prize obligation in full.

6. Entries on Behalf of a Rescue Organization

6.1 Where a Dog is owned by a Rescue Organization and is in the care of a foster caregiver, the foster caregiver may submit an Entry on behalf of that organization.

6.2 A Rescue Entry must identify the owning Rescue Organization by name at the time of entry. By submitting the Entry, the foster caregiver represents that they hold the organization’s authorization to enter and to grant the license in Section 19 and the publicity rights in Section 20 on its behalf. Sponsor may require evidence of that authorization at any time and may disqualify the Entry if it is not produced within the period specified.

6.3 Any Prize awarded to a Rescue Entry is payable to the Rescue Organization identified at the time of entry, and that organization is the Prize recipient for all purposes including tax reporting. Payment to the Rescue Organization discharges Sponsor’s Prize obligation in full.

6.4 Any arrangement between a foster caregiver and a Rescue Organization concerning an Entry, a Prize, or the division of a Prize is solely between them. Sponsor is not a party to and has no responsibility for any such arrangement. A change in the Dog’s ownership, placement, or adoption status after the Entry is submitted does not change the Prize recipient.

7. How to Enter; Entry Fee

7.1 To enter, an Entrant must (a) register for a Woof World account and provide a date of birth, which is the controlling record for all age determinations; (b) confirm United States residency; (c) submit a Video meeting Section 9; (d) confirm ownership, co-owner authority, or foster authorization for the Dog entered; (e) for a Minor Entrant, complete Parent/Guardian consent under Section 5; (f) accept these Rules and the Woof World Terms of Service; and (g) pay the Entry Fee.

THE ENTRY FEE IS $15.00 PER DOG AND IS NON-REFUNDABLE, except where the Contest is cancelled under Section 8 or Section 29, where an Entry is rejected at submission and never accepted, where an Entrant is charged more than once for the same Entry, or where a refund is required by applicable law.

7.2 An Entry is not complete until payment is successfully processed. Entries with failed or reversed payment are not accepted.

7.3 All Entries must be submitted during the Entry Period. Entries submitted after the Entry Period closes will not be accepted. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or that fail to meet these Rules are void. Sponsor is not responsible for Entries not received for any reason.

7.4 Entrants receive email confirmation identifying the Dog entered, the version of these Rules accepted, and the payment receipt.

8. Minimum Entry Threshold and Extension

THE VOTING PERIOD WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL AT LEAST 575 ELIGIBLE ENTRIES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. If the Minimum Entry Threshold has not been met by the scheduled close of the Entry Period, Sponsor may extend the Entry Period by up to fourteen (14) days beyond the scheduled close.

8.1 If the Minimum Entry Threshold is met at any point during the Entry Period or during an extension, the Entry Period closes and the Voting Period opens on the schedule posted on the official Contest website.

8.2 If the Minimum Entry Threshold has not been met at the end of the extension described above, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) proceed with the Contest, in which case the First, Second, and Third Place Prizes are paid in full and Sponsor funds any shortfall; (b) further extend the Entry Period, in which case Sponsor will post notice on the official Contest website and notify registered Entrants by email in accordance with Section 29.2; or (c) cancel the Contest, in which case every Entry Fee paid will be refunded in full to the payment method used and no Prize will be awarded.

8.3 Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the Contest at any time before winners are determined, in which case Section 8.4 applies.

8.4 A refund issued under Section 8.2(c) or Section 8.3 is the sole remedy available to Entrants, and Sponsor has no further obligation with respect to a cancelled Contest. Refunds will be issued within thirty (30) days of cancellation.

8.5 The current Entry count is displayed on the official Contest website. Entries that are disqualified, withdrawn, or refunded do not count toward the Minimum Entry Threshold. Sponsor verifies Entries on a continuous basis throughout the Entry Period.

8.6 Because the Entry Period may be extended under this Section, dates published in advertising and promotional materials for the Voting Period and the winner announcement are anticipated dates and are not commitments.

9. Video Requirements and Authenticity

9.1 Format

• Maximum length: sixty (60) seconds.
• Must feature at least one real, living dog as the primary subject.
• Accepted file formats and maximum file size are stated on the entry page.

9.2 Authenticity

The Make Me Laugh Contest celebrates real dogs. Each Entry must be an authentic audiovisual recording of one or more real, living dogs, captured by or with the permission of the Entrant, depicting events that actually occurred. An Entry may not:

• Have been generated in whole or in part by artificial intelligence, including any generative image, video, or animation tool;
• Depict a dog, or any part of a dog, that was synthesized, replaced, or substantially altered by artificial intelligence or other digital means, including face or body swaps, generated breeds or markings, composited animals, and animation of a dog’s mouth to simulate speech;
• Fabricate, simulate, or materially exaggerate a dog’s behavior, movement, or physical characteristics, whether by artificial intelligence or any other technique;
• Depict a dog that is not real, that was not living at the time of recording, or that is not lawfully in the Entrant’s care as owner, legal guardian, or authorized foster caregiver; or
• Have been altered in any manner that would mislead a reasonable viewer about what the dog did or how the dog appears.

A Video of a dog who was living at the time of recording is eligible even if the dog has since passed away.

9.3 Permitted Editing

Ordinary production and editing are permitted. Trimming, cropping, stabilization, color correction, exposure and noise adjustment, standard camera and platform filters, speed adjustment, captions, text overlays, graphics, sound effects, and human voiceover do not violate these Rules, provided they do not misrepresent the dog or the events recorded. The distinction is between the subject of an Entry, which must be authentic, and the production of an Entry, which may be edited.

9.4 Audio

Entries may not contain commercially released music, sound recordings, or other third-party audio that has been added to, synchronized with, or overlaid on the recording during production or editing.

Third-party audio incidentally present in the environment at the time of recording, such as music playing in the background or audio from a nearby television or radio, does not violate these Rules, provided it is incidental and is not a focus of the Entry. Naturally occurring sound, sound effects, human voiceover, audio the Entrant created or holds all necessary rights to, and audio drawn from any cleared audio library Sponsor makes available are permitted.

9.5 Content Standards

An Entry may not depict or encourage cruelty to, neglect of, abuse of, endangerment of, or distress of any animal; may not contain offensive, illegal, harmful, sexual, obscene, violent, or hateful content; may not identify or depict any person without their consent; and may not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.

9.6 Review and Verification

Sponsor may, but is not obligated to, review, screen, audit, hold, reject, remove, or disqualify any Entry at any time and in its reasonable discretion. Sponsor does not pre-screen every Entry and does not commit to reviewing any particular Entry.

Sponsor may require an Entrant to produce the original unedited recording, device or file metadata, or other verification of authenticity, and may disqualify an Entry if the Entrant does not do so within the period specified. Automated detection tools may be used as one input in assessing authenticity; no such tool is determinative on its own.

An Entry found to violate this Section may be removed and disqualified at any time, including after the Voting Period has closed and after a Prize has been announced or paid, in which case Section 12 applies.

10. Voting and Voter Eligibility

10.1 Winners are determined by Eligible Votes. To vote, a person must hold a Woof World account, verify their email address, and agree to the applicable terms and policies. Votes may be cast only during the Voting Period.

10.2 Voters must be at least thirteen (13) years of age. A Voter under 18 may register and vote only with Parent/Guardian consent obtained through the registration process.

ENTRANTS MAY NOT VOTE IN THIS CONTEST. A registered user who has submitted an Entry is not eligible to cast Votes for any Entry, including their own, for the duration of the Voting Period. This restriction does not affect Bonus Votes credited to an Entry under Section 11.

10.3 Free Votes. Voting is free. Each eligible Voter receives five (5) free Votes upon completing voter registration, granted once. Thereafter, each eligible Voter receives one (1) additional free Vote on each calendar day of the Voting Period on which the Voter logs in, resetting at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Daily free Votes do not accumulate. A daily free Vote that is not cast before the daily reset is forfeited, and a Voter who does not log in on a given day does not receive stacked Votes for prior days. A Voter who registers after the Voting Period opens receives the five (5) registration Votes at that time and begins receiving the daily free Vote on the day of registration.

Votes may be allocated as the Voter chooses, including all Votes to a single Entry or divided among multiple Entries. These allocations apply uniformly to every eligible Voter.

10.4 Nature of Votes. Votes are a feature of the Site and not property. They have no cash value, are not transferable between users or between Entries, expire at the close of the Voting Period, and are not refundable or redeemable for cash, credit, or any other consideration. Unused Votes do not carry over to a future contest.

10.5 No Votes Sold. No Votes are sold in this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to offer paid Vote bundles in future contests, which would be governed by the Official Rules for those contests.

10.6 Leaderboard. During the Voting Period, Sponsor will display a public leaderboard showing current standings, updated periodically. Leaderboard standings are provisional and are not final until the close of the Voting Period and completion of vote verification under Section 12.

11. Sharing and Bonus Votes

11.1 During the Entry Period, Entrants may share the Contest using a unique referral link and may earn Bonus Votes credited to their own Entry when a person who follows that link registers and completes a qualifying action.

11.2 Participation is optional and free. No purchase is necessary to share or to earn Bonus Votes.

11.3 Fifty (50) Bonus Votes are credited to an Entry each time a person who follows that Entry’s unique referral link submits a completed Entry, including payment of the Entry Fee. No Bonus Votes are credited for a referral that does not result in a completed Entry.

BONUS VOTES CREDITED TO ANY SINGLE ENTRY ARE CAPPED AT FIVE HUNDRED (500). No Entry may receive more than 500 Bonus Votes regardless of the number of referrals generated.

11.4 Bonus Votes are credited to the Entry and are not Votes that the Entrant may cast. Crediting of Bonus Votes does not affect the restriction in Section 10.2.

11.5 Bonus Votes may be earned only during the Entry Period. Entrants may continue to share their Entry during the Voting Period to encourage others to vote, but no additional Bonus Votes are credited after the Entry Period closes.

11.6 Sponsor may decline to issue, withhold, or revoke Bonus Votes where it identifies self-referral, duplicate or fraudulent accounts, incentivized or purchased registrations, or any conduct described in Section 12. Bonus Votes have no cash value and are subject to Section 10.4.

12. Vote Integrity and Anti-Fraud

12.1 Sponsor may investigate, audit, void, or adjust any Votes, and may remove Entries, disqualify Entrants or Voters, suspend or terminate accounts, and withhold or revoke Prizes, where it identifies:

• Automated or bot voting, scripts, or other technical manipulation;
• Fake, duplicate, or fraudulent accounts;
• Vote farms, vote trading, or coordinated inauthentic activity;
• Self-referral or fraudulent referral activity;
• Payment fraud or reversed transactions;
• Violation of Section 9; or
• Any other activity that compromises the integrity of the Contest.

12.2 If a Prize has already been awarded when a violation is discovered, the recipient must return the Prize or repay its value on demand, and Sponsor may award it to the next eligible Entry or withhold it entirely.

12.3 Sponsor’s determinations regarding vote validity are made in its reasonable discretion and are final. Removal of Votes obtained through prohibited means is not a refundable event.

13. Winner Determination

13.1 The Entry with the highest number of Eligible Votes at the close of the Voting Period is the First Place Winner. The next-highest Entries are awarded Second Place and Third Place, and any additional funded places under Section 14, in rank order.

13.2 Odds of winning depend on the number and validity of Eligible Votes received, not on chance.

13.3 Tie-Breaker

A tie exists when two or more Entries have the same number of Eligible Votes for the same paid place at the close of the Voting Period and after vote verification. Where a tie affects First, Second, or Third Place, Sponsor will conduct a single tie-breaker voting round open for forty-eight (48) hours and featuring only the tied Entries. The tie-breaker round begins at a time published by Sponsor after the official standings are confirmed; the tied Entries start the round at zero Votes, and the standard free voting mechanics apply. The tied Entry with the most Eligible Votes at the end of the round is awarded the position. If a tie remains, the position is awarded to the Entry with the earliest qualifying submission timestamp.

Ties for any $100.00 place under Section 14 are broken by earliest qualifying submission timestamp, without a tie-breaker round.

13.4 Verification and Announcement Timeline

After the Voting Period closes, Sponsor follows the process below. All timeframes are approximate and may be adjusted by Sponsor. Standings are not official until confirmed following verification.

• Vote verification and audit (approximately 2–3 days): Sponsor verifies Votes, investigates suspicious activity, removes duplicate, automated, or fraudulent Votes, and confirms eligibility and official standings.
• Official standings (approximately day 3): Sponsor publishes the verified paid places or, where a tie affecting a top-three place must be resolved, the tied Entries proceeding to a tie-breaker.
• Tie-breaker, if needed (48 hours): conducted under Section 13.3.
• Final audit (approximately 1 day): Sponsor verifies any tie-breaker Votes.
• Winner announcement (approximately day 6–7): Sponsor announces winners, subject to winner verification under Section 15.

14. Prizes and Prize Pool

14.1 Fixed Prizes

First Place receives $5,000.00, Second Place receives $500.00, and Third Place receives $250.00. These three Prizes are fixed and guaranteed regardless of the number of Entries received, subject only to Section 8.

14.2 Entry Fee Allocation

Of each $15.00 Entry Fee, $5.00 is contributed to the designated animal rescue beneficiary described in Section 17, and $10.00 is allocated to the Prize Pool until the Prize Pool reaches $5,750.00, the amount required to fund the three fixed Prizes. The Minimum Entry Threshold of 575 Entries corresponds to that amount.

14.3 Additional Prizes

After the Minimum Entry Threshold is reached, one additional Prize of $100.00 is awarded for every fifty (50) additional Eligible Entries received during the Entry Period, in rank order beginning at Fourth Place, with no cap on the number of additional Prizes. The $5.00 rescue contribution continues on every Entry. Any amount insufficient to fund a complete $100.00 Prize is retained by Sponsor.

The number of Prizes is finalized when the Entry Period closes. Voting during the Voting Period determines the ranking of Entries and therefore which Entries receive which Prize.

14.4 Illustrative Examples

The following are illustrative only. Actual results depend on the final number of Eligible Entries.

14.5 At least three (3) places are always paid. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitution is permitted except by Sponsor, which may substitute a Prize of equal or greater value where necessary.

15. Winner Verification

15.1 A potential winner will be notified using the contact information associated with the Woof World account. A potential winner is not a winner, and no Prize is awarded, until eligibility is verified and all required documentation is completed and returned.

A POTENTIAL WINNER MUST COMPLETE AND RETURN ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF FIRST NOTICE. Required documentation may include an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, a Publicity Release except where prohibited by law, government-issued identification, and a completed IRS Form W-9 or equivalent taxpayer identification documentation.

15.2 Where the Prize recipient is a Parent/Guardian under Section 5 or a Rescue Organization under Section 6, that recipient must complete and return the required documentation.

15.3 Forfeiture. A potential winner forfeits the Prize if they cannot be reached using the contact information on the account after reasonable attempts, if required documentation is not returned within thirty (30) days, if any notice is returned undeliverable, if the documentation reveals ineligibility, or if the Entrant declines the Prize. Where a Prize is forfeited, Sponsor may award it to the Entry with the next highest Eligible Vote total or withhold it entirely.

15.4 Provision of false information results in disqualification and forfeiture.

16. Prize Payment and Tax Reporting

16.1 Each Prize recipient is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes arising from a Prize and for any expense associated with a Prize not expressly stated as included.

16.2 Any Prize of $600.00 or more will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service on Form 1099. Before payment of any such Prize, the recipient must provide a valid taxpayer identification number and a completed IRS Form W-9.

16.3 If a valid taxpayer identification number is not provided, Sponsor may apply backup withholding at the applicable rate or treat the Prize as forfeited.

16.4 Where the winner is a Minor Entrant, the Prize is paid to the Parent/Guardian, who must provide the Form W-9 and taxpayer identification number. Where the Prize recipient is a Rescue Organization, that organization must provide the required tax documentation.

16.5 Prizes are paid by ACH transfer or wire transfer within forty-five (45) days following completion of verification. The Prize recipient must provide accurate banking information; Sponsor is not responsible for a Prize misdirected as a result of information provided by the recipient.

17. Rescue Contribution

17.1 Five dollars ($5.00) of each $15.00 Entry Fee is contributed to a designated animal rescue beneficiary that holds tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as reflected in Section 14.2. The contribution applies to every Eligible Entry received, including Entries received after the Minimum Entry Threshold is reached.

17.2 The designated beneficiary will be identified by name on the official Contest website before the Entry Period opens, and will be identified at the point of entry.

17.3 The total amount contributed will be published on the official Contest website following the close of the Contest and will be paid to the beneficiary within forty-five (45) days of the close of the Contest.

18. Sponsors

18.1 The Contest may feature sponsors. Sponsorship does not confer any influence over voting, judging, entry eligibility, or the selection of winners, and does not confer eligibility to enter. Sponsors and their officers, employees, and agents are ineligible under Section 4.6.

19. Content License and Intellectual Property

19.1 Entrants retain ownership of the content they submit and of the underlying intellectual property in their Video.

BY ENTERING, EACH ENTRANT GRANTS SPONSOR AN IRREVOCABLE, PERPETUAL, WORLDWIDE, ROYALTY-FREE, NON-EXCLUSIVE, SUBLICENSABLE, AND ASSIGNABLE LICENSE to use, reproduce, edit, modify, excerpt, display, perform, distribute, and create derivative works from the submitted content, in whole or in part, for marketing, advertising, publicity, promotional, and business purposes, in any media now known or later developed. For a Minor Entrant, this license is granted by the Parent/Guardian under Section 5.

19.2 This license survives completion or termination of the Contest, the disqualification of the Entry, and any assignment or change of control of Sponsor, and applies whether or not the Entry receives any Prize. No further compensation, notice, or approval is required for any permitted use, and Sponsor is under no obligation to use any Entry. To the extent permitted by law, each Entrant waives any moral rights and any rights of attribution or integrity in the submitted content.

20. Publicity

20.1 Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a Prize constitutes consent for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, voice, statements, city and state of residence, the name and image of the Dog, and the Entry, for advertising and promotional purposes without further notice or compensation. For a Minor Entrant, this consent is given by the Parent/Guardian.

20.2 Winners will be identified publicly by first name, last initial, city, state, and the name of the Dog entered.

20.3 Participation in reasonable publicity activities may be a condition of receiving a Prize. Some jurisdictions restrict conditioning receipt of a Prize on participation in publicity activities, and the preceding sentence does not apply where prohibited by law.

21. Privacy and Electronic Records

21.1 Personal information collected in connection with the Contest is handled in accordance with the Woof World Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Information may include name, email address, date of birth, account data, payment information processed by a third-party processor, guardian consent records, and submitted content.

21.2 Sponsor does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Eligibility is limited to persons 13 and older, and minors participate only with Parent/Guardian consent.

21.3 Consent to Electronic Records. Acceptance occurs electronically. Each Entrant, Parent/Guardian, and Voter accepts these Rules by checking an “I agree” box at the time of registration, entry, payment, or first vote, with these Rules accessible at that point and a record of acceptance retained by Sponsor, including the version accepted. Each participant consents to transact electronically and to the use of electronic signatures and records, consistent with the federal E-SIGN Act and applicable Florida law. Winner affidavits and releases, and Minor Entrant guardian consent, may require a separate signature or electronic signature.

22. Disqualification

22.1 Sponsor may disqualify any Entrant or Voter who violates these Rules or the Woof World Terms of Service, who engages in conduct described in Section 12, who provides false information, or whose conduct in Sponsor’s judgment compromises the integrity of the Contest or the safety of any person or animal. Sponsor may void associated Entries or Votes, in each case with or without prior notice.

22.2 Disqualification may occur at any time, including after the Voting Period has closed and after a Prize has been announced or paid. No fees or amounts paid are refundable upon disqualification, except where required by law.

23. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Contest, the website, and all related services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

By entering or voting, each participant releases the Released Parties from any claim, liability, injury, loss, or damage arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any Prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical failures, network or server outages, interrupted or unavailable connections, hardware or software failure, lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, or incomplete Entries or Votes, unauthorized access, errors in vote tabulation arising despite reasonable safeguards, or events beyond their reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Released Parties will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, and the total aggregate liability of the Released Parties arising out of or relating to the Contest will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount the claimant paid to Sponsor in connection with the Contest or (b) one hundred United States dollars ($100.00).

23.1 Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations or exclusions, so parts of this Section may not apply. Nothing in this Section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence.

24. Indemnification

24.1 Each Entrant, and for a Minor Entrant the Parent/Guardian, agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim, damage, liability, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of the Entrant’s content, breach of these Rules or of any representation or warranty, or violation of any third-party right or applicable law.

25. Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

25.1 Informal Resolution. Before initiating any proceeding, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by written notice to legal@woofworld.com for at least thirty (30) days.

Except as provided below, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Contest or these Rules will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Arbitration is conducted by a neutral arbitrator, there is no judge or jury, and review of an arbitration award is limited. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISPUTES WILL BE BROUGHT ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, AND EACH PARTY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

25.2 Carve-Out. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court if it qualifies, or seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

25.3 Opt-Out. A participant may opt out of this arbitration and class-waiver provision by sending written notice to legal@woofworld.com, or to Sponsor at 1314 E Las Olas Blvd #2097, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, within thirty (30) days of first acceptance of these Rules, stating their name, the email address on their account, and their intent to opt out. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Rules.

25.4 Limitation Period. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, to the extent permitted by law.

26. Governing Law and Venue

26.1 These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 25, the exclusive venue for any permitted court action is Broward County, Florida.

27. Copyright and Infringement

27.1 Claims of copyright infringement relating to an Entry are handled under the Woof World Copyright and DMCA Policy. Removal of an Entry following a notice may result in disqualification at any point in the Contest, including after the Voting Period has closed.

28. Assignment; Successors; Change of Control

28.1 Sponsor may freely assign or transfer these Rules and its rights and obligations, in whole or in part, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets or equity, without notice to or consent of any Entrant or Voter.

28.2 These Rules bind and benefit the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns. All licenses, consents, releases, and indemnities granted under these Rules extend to and may be exercised by Sponsor’s successors and assigns. Entrants and Voters may not assign their rights or obligations without Sponsor’s prior written consent.

29. Modification, Suspension, and Termination

29.1 Sponsor may modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest, or extend, shorten, or modify the Entry Period or Voting Period, where fraud, technical failure, pandemic, act of God, governmental action, or other cause beyond its reasonable control compromises the administration, security, or integrity of the Contest, or as otherwise permitted by law.

29.2 Material changes will be posted on the official Contest website and communicated to registered Entrants by email. If the Contest is terminated before winners are determined, Entry Fees will be refunded in full and no Prize will be awarded.

29.3 Each version of these Rules is identified by version number. The version accepted at the time of entry governs that Entry, and prior versions are retained in an accessible archive.

30. Winners List

30.1 The names of winners will be published on the official Contest website within thirty (30) days following the close of the Contest and will remain available for at least one (1) year. Winners are identified as described in Section 20.2.

31. General Provisions

31.1 Final Authority. All decisions regarding eligibility, voting, vote validity, Prize awards, and interpretation of these Rules are made by Sponsor in its reasonable discretion and are final and binding.

31.2 Survival. Sections 2, 12, 16, 19 through 28, and this Section 31 survive completion or termination of the Contest.

31.3 Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. If the class-action waiver in Section 25 is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court and the remainder of Section 25 continues to apply to all other claims.

31.4 No Waiver. No failure or delay by Sponsor in enforcing any provision operates as a waiver of it.

31.5 Notices. Notices to Sponsor must be sent to Woof World, LLC, 1314 E Las Olas Blvd #2097, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, Attn: Legal, and legal@woofworld.com. Notices to participants may be provided electronically to the account contact information.

31.6 No Third-Party Beneficiaries. Except for the Released Parties with respect to the releases, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnities, these Rules create no third-party beneficiary rights.

31.7 Entire Agreement. These Rules, together with the Woof World Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and any documents incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between Sponsor and each Entrant and Voter regarding the Contest and supersede any prior statements.
