WOOF WORLD, LLC
TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective August 1, 2026 • Version 1.1
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Woof World, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Woof World,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of woofworld.com, my.woofworld.com, and all related sites, applications, features, contests, memberships, marketplaces, and services (collectively, the “Site”).
Please read Section 22 (Disclaimer of Warranties), Section 23 (Limitation of Liability), and Section 25 (Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver) carefully. These sections limit our liability to you and affect how disputes between us are resolved.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, entering a contest, casting a vote, making a purchase, or otherwise accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Certain programs are governed by additional terms that supplement these Terms, including the Official Rules for each contest, the Paw Pass Membership Terms, the Paw Points Program Terms, the Seller Agreement, the Community Guidelines, and the Rescue Directory Terms. Where a program-specific document conflicts with these Terms, the program-specific document controls for that program only.
2. Who May Use the Site
2.1 Minimum Age
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Accounts identified as belonging to a person under 13 will be closed and associated data deleted.
2.2 Users Aged 13 to 17
If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you may use the Site only with the verified consent of a parent or legal guardian. We obtain that consent through a double opt-in process sent to the guardian email address you provide at registration. Until consent is confirmed, account functionality is limited. A parent or guardian who provides consent agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf and accepts responsibility for the minor’s use of the Site.
Subject to that consent, a registered user who is at least 13 but under 18 years of age (a “Teen Entrant”) may browse the Site, cast free votes as described in Section 8.6, participate in referral and sharing features, and enter contests. A Teen Entrant may not submit a contest entry unless the consent described in this Section has been given and confirmed before the entry is submitted.
By providing consent for a contest entry, the parent or guardian: (a) agrees to these Terms and to the Official Rules on the Teen Entrant’s behalf and in their own capacity; (b) grants the licenses in Sections 5.2 and 5.3 with respect to the entry and to the Teen Entrant’s name, image, and likeness, and confirms authority to do so; (c) makes the representations in Section 5.4 with respect to the entry, including ownership or legal guardianship of the dog; (d) authorizes payment of the entry fee, which must be made using a payment method belonging to the parent or guardian; and (e) accepts responsibility for the Teen Entrant’s participation.
Any prize awarded to an entry submitted by a Teen Entrant is payable solely to the consenting parent or legal guardian, who is the prize recipient for all purposes, including tax reporting, and who must provide any affidavit, release, tax identification information, or other documentation we require before the prize is released. We will not pay a prize directly to a Teen Entrant. Payment to the parent or guardian discharges our prize obligation in full, and any arrangement between them and the Teen Entrant concerning the prize is solely between them.
A parent or guardian may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent takes effect prospectively, does not revoke the licenses granted in Sections 5.2 and 5.3 as to an entry already submitted, and may render the Teen Entrant ineligible to continue in a contest.
2.3 Activities Requiring Age 18 or Older
You must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States to:
- Access, join, or participate in the Community described in Section 9, including creating a member profile, posting content, joining groups, or exchanging messages with other members;
- Purchase a membership, product, service, or any other paid feature, other than a contest entry fee submitted in accordance with Section 2.2;
- Receive payment of a contest prize, except as provided in Section 2.2;
- Enroll in the Seller Program or receive payouts;
- Enroll in our SMS messaging program.
Date of birth collected at registration is the controlling record for all age determinations under these Terms.
3. Accounts and Account Security
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. You must notify us promptly at support@woofworld.com of any unauthorized use.
One account per person. Creating or operating multiple accounts to influence contest voting, to circumvent a suspension, or to obtain rewards more than once is a material breach of these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. You may not:
- Upload false, deceptive, harassing, hateful, obscene, or unlawful content;
- Upload content that infringes any third party’s copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights;
- Depict or encourage cruelty to, neglect of, or endangerment of any animal;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent an affiliation;
- Use bots, scripts, automated tools, purchased accounts, vote exchanges, or coordinated schemes to influence voting or rewards;
- Access the Site through scraping, crawling, or reverse engineering, or attempt to defeat any security or rate-limiting measure;
- Interfere with the operation, integrity, or availability of the Site;
- Use the Site to advertise, solicit, or transmit unsolicited commercial messages;
- Violate any applicable local, state, or federal law.
Additional standards applicable to community areas are set out in our Community Guidelines. We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, void votes, or disqualify entries for violations, as described in Sections 6 and 21.
5. User Content and License Grant
“User Content” means any video, photograph, text, comment, review, profile information, or other material you submit to the Site.
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of your User Content. We do not claim ownership of it.
5.2 License to Woof World
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Woof World a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, modify, edit, excerpt, translate, create derivative works from, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute that User Content, in whole or in part, in any and all media now known or later developed, for the purposes of operating, promoting, marketing, and advertising the Site, our contests, and our programs. This license includes the right to sublicense these rights to our sponsors, media partners, advertising vendors, and platform providers in connection with those purposes.
For contest entries, this license is perpetual and irrevocable. It survives the conclusion of the contest, the disqualification of the entry, and the termination of your account, and it applies whether or not the entry receives any prize. For User Content that is not a contest entry, the license terminates within a commercially reasonable period after you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups, in aggregated or de-identified form, or where the content has been shared or republished by others.
No further compensation, notice, or approval is required for any use permitted by this Section, and we are under no obligation to use your User Content. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights and any rights of attribution or integrity you may have in your User Content, and you agree not to assert such rights against us or our sublicensees.
5.3 Name, Image, and Likeness
By submitting User Content and by entering a contest, you grant Woof World and its sublicensees the right to use your name, username, city and state of residence, voice, photograph, video likeness, statements, and biographical information, together with the name, image, and likeness of any dog appearing in your User Content, in connection with the display of that content and in connection with advertising, marketing, publicity, and promotional materials for the Site, our contests, and our programs, in any and all media now known or later developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, without further compensation, notice, or approval, except where prohibited by law.
If you are announced as a contest winner or finalist, we may publish your first name, last initial, city, state, and the name and image of your dog. Participation in reasonable publicity activities may be a condition of receiving a prize where the Official Rules so provide. Some jurisdictions restrict conditioning the receipt of a prize on participation in publicity activities, and the preceding sentence does not apply where prohibited by law.
5.4 Your Representations
You represent and warrant, and where the entrant is a Teen Entrant the consenting parent or legal guardian represents and warrants, that:
- you meet the age requirements in Section 2 for the activity in question;
- you own or have obtained all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary to submit your User Content and to grant the licenses in Sections 5.2 and 5.3;
- your User Content does not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, right of privacy, or other right of any third party;
- every identifiable person appearing or heard in your User Content has consented to its submission and to the uses described in Sections 5.2 and 5.3, and you can produce evidence of that consent on request;
- any music, sound recording, footage, image, or other material in your User Content that you did not create yourself is used with all necessary rights or licenses;
- for any contest entry, you are the sole owner of the dog appearing in the entry; or, if the dog is co-owned, you hold the authority of every co-owner; or, if the dog is owned by a rescue organization, shelter, or similar entity and is in your care as a foster caregiver, you have satisfied the requirements of Section 8.7 — and in each case you hold the authority to submit the entry and to grant the licenses in these Terms; and
- your User Content complies with Section 4 and, for contest entries, with Section 8.4.
5.5 Feedback
Any suggestions or feedback you provide about the Site may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
6. Content Moderation
We reserve the right, but do not assume any obligation, to review, screen, edit, refuse, remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason. We do not pre-screen User Content and make no representation that we monitor the Site.
Woof World is not the author or publisher of User Content. Opinions expressed in User Content are those of the users who submitted it. We disclaim responsibility for User Content to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Copyright Complaints and DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to properly submitted notices of alleged infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Our full notice-and-takedown procedure, including the elements a valid notice must contain and the counter-notification process, is set out in our DMCA Policy.
Notices should be directed to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent, Woof World, LLC
1314 E Las Olas Blvd #2097, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
dmca@woofworld.com
We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
8. Contests and Voting
8.1 Official Rules Control
Each contest is governed by its own Official Rules, published on the Site and identified by version. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Official Rules for a given contest, the Official Rules control as to that contest.
8.2 Entry and Contest Phases
Entry requirements, entry fees, eligibility restrictions, and the structure and duration of each contest are stated in the Official Rules for that contest. A contest may be conducted in phases, which may include a registration phase during which entries are accepted, a voting phase during which votes are cast, and such other phases as the Official Rules describe. The activities available to entrants and to other users may differ by phase, and a phase may open or close on a fixed date or upon the occurrence of a condition stated in the Official Rules. Entry fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where a contest is cancelled before its registration phase opens.
8.3 Minimum Participation and Contest Modification
A contest may be conditioned on a minimum number of eligible entries being received before a subsequent phase begins. Where the Official Rules for a contest state a minimum participation requirement, that requirement and its consequences are disclosed in the Official Rules and in materials promoting the contest.
Where a minimum participation requirement applies, the registration phase remains open until the requirement is satisfied or until the outside date stated in the Official Rules, whichever occurs first. Dates identified in promotional materials as anticipated or estimated are not commitments, and we may extend the registration phase and adjust the dates of subsequent phases accordingly.
If the minimum participation requirement is not satisfied by the outside date stated in the Official Rules, we may, as the Official Rules provide: extend the registration phase; proceed with the contest with the prizes stated in the Official Rules; proceed with a reduced prize structure disclosed in the Official Rules; or cancel the contest. If a contest is cancelled under this Section, all entry fees paid will be refunded in full to the payment method used, and no prize will be awarded. Refunds issued under this Section are the sole remedy available to entrants, and we have no further obligation with respect to a cancelled contest.
We may modify the dates, phases, or structure of a contest where necessary to respond to a technical failure, suspected fraud, force majeure event, or legal or regulatory requirement, and will notify registered entrants of any material change.
8.4 Entry Content and Authenticity
Woof World contests celebrate real dogs. Each entry must be an authentic audiovisual recording of one or more real, living dogs, captured by or with the permission of the entrant, depicting events that actually occurred.
You may not submit, and we may disqualify, any entry that:
- was generated in whole or in part by artificial intelligence, including any generative image, video, or animation tool;
- depicts a dog, or any part of a dog, that was synthesized, replaced, or substantially altered by artificial intelligence or other digital means, including face or body swaps, generated breeds or markings, and composited animals;
- fabricates, simulates, or materially exaggerates a dog’s behavior, movement, or physical characteristics, whether by artificial intelligence or by any other technique;
- depicts a dog that is not real, that was not living at the time of recording, or that is not lawfully in the entrant’s care as owner, legal guardian, or authorized foster caregiver; or
- has been altered in any manner that would mislead a reasonable viewer about what the dog did or how the dog appears.
Ordinary production and editing are permitted. Trimming, cropping, stabilization, color correction, exposure and noise adjustment, standard camera and platform filters, speed adjustment, captions, text overlays, graphics, sound effects, and human voiceover do not violate this Section, provided they do not misrepresent the dog or the events recorded. The distinction drawn by this Section is between the subject of an entry, which must be authentic, and the production of an entry, which may be edited.
Entries may not contain commercially released music, sound recordings, or other third-party audio that has been added to, synchronized with, or overlaid on the recording during production or editing. Third-party audio that was incidentally present in the environment at the time of recording, such as music playing in the background or audio from a nearby television, radio, or public event, does not violate this Section, provided it is incidental to the recording and is not a focus of the entry. Naturally occurring sound, sound effects, human voiceover, audio that the entrant created or holds all necessary rights to, and audio drawn from any cleared audio library we make available are permitted. We may remove, mute, or disqualify any entry containing prohibited audio at any time, including after voting has closed.
We may require an entrant to produce the original unedited recording, device or file metadata, or other verification of authenticity, and may disqualify an entry if the entrant does not do so within the period we specify. We may use automated detection tools as one input in assessing authenticity; no such tool is determinative on its own. Determinations under this Section are made in our reasonable discretion.
An entry found to violate this Section may be removed and disqualified at any time, including after voting has closed and after a prize has been announced or paid, in which case Section 8.7 applies. The Official Rules for a contest may impose additional or stricter content requirements, but may not waive the requirements of this Section.
8.5 Sharing and Referral Features
We may offer features that allow entrants and other users to share a contest, an entry, or an invitation with others, and that credit votes or other non-monetary rewards when a person who follows a shared link registers, votes, or takes another qualifying action. Participation in these features is optional and free. No purchase is necessary to share, to earn rewards through sharing, or to receive any reward described in this Section.
The qualifying actions, reward amounts, caps, and the phases during which sharing rewards may be earned are stated in the Official Rules for each contest and may differ by contest, by phase, and by user type. Rewards earned through sharing are credited in the form and to the recipient stated in the Official Rules, and may be credited as votes attributed to an entry, as votes a user may cast, or as Points under Section 10.
We may set, modify, or discontinue reward amounts and caps prospectively, and may decline to issue, withhold, or revoke rewards where we identify self-referral, duplicate or fraudulent accounts, incentivized or purchased registrations, or any other conduct described in Section 8.7. Sharing rewards have no cash value and are subject to the same terms as all other votes under Section 8.6.
8.6 Voting
Voting occurs during the voting phase established by the Official Rules. Eligibility to vote is determined by the Official Rules for each contest, which may limit or exclude voting by entrants or by other categories of user. Every user eligible to vote may cast votes at no cost and without any purchase. Additional votes may be made available through sharing and referral features under Section 8.5, through registration or participation bonuses, or, where a contest offers them, through purchase. The number of votes available to a user, the frequency with which votes are granted, any limits on how votes may be allocated among entries, and any caps that apply are stated in the Official Rules and may differ by contest.
Votes, however obtained, are a digital feature of the Site and not property. They carry no cash value, are not transferable between users or between entries except as the Official Rules expressly permit, expire at the close of the contest for which they were granted or purchased, and are not refundable or redeemable for cash, credit, or any other consideration. Unused votes do not carry over to a future contest. Obtaining votes by any means does not guarantee any outcome and confers no ownership interest of any kind.
8.7 Contest Integrity
We may investigate, audit, void, or adjust votes, and may remove entries, disqualify entrants or voters, suspend or terminate accounts, and withhold or revoke prizes, where we identify automated voting, fraudulent or duplicate accounts, vote farms, vote trading, self-referral, payment fraud, coordinated manipulation, violation of Section 8.4, or any other conduct that compromises contest integrity. If a prize has already been awarded when a violation is discovered, the recipient must return the prize or repay its value on demand, and we may award the prize to the next eligible entrant or withhold it entirely.
Determinations under this Section are made in our reasonable discretion and are final.
8.8 Entries on Behalf of a Rescue Organization
Where a dog is owned by a rescue organization, shelter, or similar entity and is in the care of a foster caregiver, the foster caregiver may submit an entry on behalf of that organization. The entry must identify the owning organization by name at the time of entry, and by submitting the entry the foster caregiver represents that they hold the organization’s authorization to enter and to grant the licenses in Sections 5.2 and 5.3 on its behalf. We may require evidence of that authorization at any time and may disqualify the entry if it is not produced within the period we specify.
Any prize awarded to an entry submitted under this Section is payable to the owning organization identified at the time of entry, and that organization is the prize recipient for all purposes, including tax reporting. Any arrangement between a foster caregiver and an owning organization concerning an entry, a prize, or the division of a prize is solely between them. Woof World is not a party to and has no responsibility for any such arrangement, and payment to the owning organization discharges our prize obligation in full.
8.9 Prizes and Winner Verification
The prizes offered in a contest, the basis on which winners are determined, and any tie-breaking procedure are stated in the Official Rules for that contest. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value where the stated prize becomes unavailable.
We will notify a potential winner using the contact information associated with the account. A potential winner is not a winner, and no prize is awarded, until eligibility has been verified and any required documentation has been completed and returned. We may require a potential winner, or the person who will receive the prize under Section 2.2 or Section 8.7, to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, a publicity release where permitted by law, government-issued identification, and a completed IRS Form W-9 or equivalent taxpayer identification documentation, within the period stated in the Official Rules or, if none is stated, within fourteen (14) days of first notice.
A potential winner forfeits the prize if they cannot be reached using the contact information on the account after reasonable attempts, if any required documentation is not returned within the applicable period, if any notice is returned as undeliverable, if the documentation reveals that the entrant or recipient is ineligible, or if the entrant declines the prize. Where a prize is forfeited, we may award it to the entrant with the next highest eligible standing or withhold it entirely, as the Official Rules provide.
Prizes are awarded to the individual or entity identified as the prize recipient under these Terms and the Official Rules, and may not be transferred, assigned, substituted, or exchanged for cash by the recipient. Where a prize is paid to a parent or legal guardian under Section 2.2 or to an owning organization under Section 8.7, payment to that recipient discharges our obligation in full.
The prize recipient is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes arising from a prize, and for any expense associated with a prize that is not expressly stated as included. We will report prize payments to taxing authorities where required and will issue an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent where applicable. We may withhold from a prize payment any amount we are required to withhold by law, including backup withholding where valid taxpayer identification information is not provided.
Prizes are paid by the method and within the period stated in the Official Rules, following completion of verification. We may withhold payment of a prize pending the conclusion of any investigation under Section 8.7, and may revoke or require repayment of a prize as provided in that Section.
9. Community — The Park
9.1 What the Community Is
The Site includes a proprietary online community known as The Park (the “Community”), where members maintain profiles, publish posts and media, join groups and forums, comment on and react to other members’ content, follow other members, and exchange direct messages. The Community is operated by Woof World and is not a third-party social network. Your use of the Community is governed by these Terms, by our Community Guidelines, and by the Community Terms and Conditions, each incorporated by reference. Where the Community Terms and Conditions conflict with these Terms, the Community Terms and Conditions control as to the Community.
9.2 Eligibility
Access to the Community is limited to registered users who are at least 18 years of age. Registered users under 18 may use other areas of the Site as described in Section 2, but may not create a member profile, post content, join groups, or send or receive direct messages within the Community. We may suspend or remove Community access from any account that we determine does not meet this requirement.
9.3 Public Nature of Community Content
Content you post in the Community is visible to other members and, depending on the settings applicable to a given area, may be visible to the general public and indexed by search engines. You should not post anything you would not want publicly associated with you, and you have no expectation of privacy in content posted to public or member-visible areas. Direct messages are not displayed publicly, but they are not confidential as to Woof World: we may access, review, and retain them where reasonably necessary to investigate a report, enforce these Terms, protect the safety of members or animals, or comply with law.
9.4 No Professional Advice
The Community contains information and opinions contributed by members, including statements about animal health, nutrition, behavior, training, breeding, veterinary care, medications, products, and services. This content is not professional advice, is not reviewed by us for accuracy, and must not be relied on as a substitute for consultation with a licensed veterinarian or other qualified professional. Woof World does not endorse and is not responsible for any member content, and you act on it at your own risk. In an emergency involving an animal, contact a licensed veterinarian immediately.
9.5 Animal Transactions, Rehoming, and Solicitation
The Community may not be used to sell, breed, broker, trade, give away, or solicit the transfer of any animal, except through channels we expressly designate for that purpose. Adoption and rescue activity must be conducted through the Rescue Directory in accordance with the Rescue Directory Terms. Any arrangement between members concerning an animal is solely between those members. Woof World is not a party to any such arrangement, does not screen, verify, or vet members, and disclaims all responsibility for the conduct of the parties or the welfare of any animal involved.
9.6 Commercial Activity
The Community is not a sales channel. You may not use it to advertise, promote, or solicit business, to recruit members to other platforms or services, or to distribute unsolicited commercial messages. Businesses wishing to sell products or services must enroll in the Seller Program and transact through the marketplace as described in Sections 11 and 13. Sponsored or paid placements within the Community are permitted only where arranged with us in advance and clearly disclosed.
9.7 Conduct and Enforcement
Member conduct in the Community is subject to Sections 4 and 6 and to the Community Guidelines. Reporting and blocking tools are available within the Community. We review reports at our discretion and are under no obligation to take any particular action. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend Community access, or terminate accounts as described in Sections 6 and 21.
10. Membership and Reward Points
10.1 Membership
Woof World offers paid memberships, currently offered under the name Paw Pass™ (the “Membership”), with benefits described at the point of enrollment. Benefits may include discounts, rewards, enhanced platform features, and accelerated earning of Reward Points as described below. We may change the name, structure, pricing, or benefits of the Membership over time; material reductions in benefits will be communicated in advance.
10.2 Automatic Renewal (retain conspicuous box styling)
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. Paid memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate until you cancel. We will charge the payment method on file. You may cancel at any time from your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Cancelling does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already charged, except where required by law.
10.3 Billing Disclosures
Before your first charge and before any price increase takes effect, we will present the renewal frequency, the amount to be charged, and the method of cancellation in a clear and conspicuous manner, and will send confirmation of your enrollment by email.
10.4 Reward Points
Woof World offers a promotional loyalty program under which you may earn reward points, currently offered under the name Paw Points™ (the “Points”), in connection with Membership and with other qualifying activity on the Site. Points have no cash value, are not property, are not transferable, and may not be sold, assigned, bequeathed, or redeemed for cash. Points are not a substitute for currency, do not accrue interest, and confer no ownership interest of any kind. Nothing in this Section obligates us to offer any particular redemption option or to maintain any particular point value.
10.5 Earning and Redemption
Earning rates, qualifying activities, redemption options, and any minimum balance required for redemption are described in the Paw Points Program Terms and at the point of earning. Members may earn at enhanced rates. Redemption of Points requires an account in good standing, and any redemption involving a purchase or payout is subject to the age requirements in Section 2.3. We may modify point values, earning rules, redemption options, and expiration terms at any time, with notice for material changes.
10.6 Forfeiture and Expiration
Points are forfeited if your account is closed by you or by us, if your account is suspended or terminated for cause, or if your account is inactive for the period stated in the Paw Points Program Terms. Points obtained through fraud, referral abuse, duplicate accounts, or any violation of these Terms may be revoked, and the associated account may be suspended.
11. Marketplace
The Site includes a marketplace through which products, services, and experiences for dogs and dog owners are offered. The marketplace is organized into storefronts and categories that we may add, remove, rename, combine, or reorganize at any time. Listings are offered either by Woof World directly or by independent third-party businesses (“Sellers”). This Section applies to all marketplace activity, in every storefront and category, whether offered now or introduced later.
11.1 Third-Party Product Listings
For products sold by a Seller, the contract of sale is between you and that Seller, and the Seller is the merchant of record for that transaction. Woof World provides the marketplace venue and receives a commission on completed sales. Payment is processed by our third-party payment processor on the Seller’s own account with that processor, and refunds, returns, cancellations, and payment disputes for Seller orders are handled by the Seller. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, accuracy, availability, or fulfillment of Seller listings, and we make no representation about any Seller.
11.2 Service Provider Listings
Listings for services identify independent service providers. We do not employ, endorse, license, certify, background-check, or supervise any service provider, and we are not a party to any engagement you enter into with one. You are responsible for verifying credentials, insurance, and suitability.
11.3 Woof World Direct Sales
Products and services identified as sold and fulfilled by Woof World, including branded merchandise, are provided by us directly, and our obligations as seller under applicable law apply to them. Sections 11.1 and 11.2 do not apply to them.
12. Payments, Taxes and Refunds
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. For contest entry fees, memberships, and products and services sold and fulfilled by Woof World, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for all amounts due, including recurring membership charges. If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend access to paid features until payment succeeds. For purchases from a Seller, you authorize the Seller and our payment processor to charge your payment method, and the terms of that transaction are between you and the Seller.
ENTRY FEES AND PURCHASED VOTES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where we cancel a contest before its entry period opens. Please review your order before completing a purchase.
Our full refund, cancellation, and return terms, including the return window for physical goods, are set out in our Refund Policy. If you believe a charge is in error, contact support@woofworld.com before initiating a chargeback; we will work with you in good faith to resolve it.
13. Seller Program
Businesses may apply to sell through the marketplace. Approval is at our discretion. By enrolling, you agree to the Seller Agreement, which governs commissions, payout timing, prohibited items, listing accuracy, fulfillment obligations, returns, tax reporting, and termination. In summary, Sellers agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and non-misleading listings and pricing;
- Fulfill accepted orders promptly and honor stated shipping and return terms;
- Comply with all applicable laws, including product safety, labeling, licensing, and tax obligations;
- Maintain any licenses, certifications, or insurance required for their category;
- Grant Woof World the right to display, reproduce, and promote their listings, names, and marks in connection with the marketplace.
We may remove listings, suspend or terminate a Seller’s access to the marketplace, and end the payment processing relationship between a Seller and the Site, for breach of the Seller Agreement, for chargeback or fraud patterns, or where required by law. Because Seller transactions settle directly to the Seller’s own account with our payment processor, we do not hold Seller funds and cannot reverse, withhold, or redirect them.
14. Sponsors and Partners
Sponsorship tiers, benefits, deliverables, and payment terms are defined in the applicable sponsorship kit and executed agreement. Sponsors agree to deliver approved assets by stated deadlines and to comply with our promotional and branding guidelines. We may adjust or withdraw sponsor visibility where commitments are not met. Sponsorship does not confer any influence over voting, judging, entry eligibility, or the selection of winners, and does not confer eligibility to enter.
15. Rescue and Charity Partners
Approved rescue organizations and nonprofits may be listed in the Rescue Directory and featured in co-branded initiatives, subject to the Rescue Directory Terms. Listed organizations agree to maintain accurate organizational and tax-status information, to use any funds or benefits received consistent with their stated mission, and to provide verification of nonprofit status or reporting on impact at our request. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement, and we do not verify the operations, finances, or animal-welfare practices of listed organizations beyond the checks described in the Rescue Directory Terms.
16. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, and services. We do not control them, are not responsible for them, and do not endorse them. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms and privacy practices, which you should review independently.
17. Our Intellectual Property
The Site and all content we provide — including text, graphics, logos, video, software, contest assets, and design elements — are owned by Woof World or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. WOOF WORLD and associated logos, are trademarks of Woof World, LLC. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the Site, and nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use our marks.
18. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, available at woofworld.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy also explains the rights available to residents of certain states, how to exercise them, and how to manage cookie and advertising preferences.
19. Electronic Communication and Notices
By using the Site, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including notices delivered by email or posted to the Site, and you agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing. Transactional and service messages relating to your account, purchases, entries, and legal notices are not optional while your account is active; you may opt out of marketing messages at any time.
Legal notices to us must be sent to legal@woofworld.com and to Woof World, LLC, 1314 E Las Olas Blvd #2097, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
20. SMS Messaging Program
Enrollment in our SMS program is optional and requires your separate, affirmative consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase, of entering a contest, or of using the Site.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive non-marketing text messages from Woof World, LLC relating to your inquiries, orders, transactions, appointment reminders, customer support, and service-related updates. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you may also receive promotional messages including special offers, discounts, and product updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message; we will send a single confirmation and no further messages will be sent. To rejoin, opt in again as you did initially. For assistance, reply HELP or contact support@woofworld.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. This program is intended for individuals aged 18 or older. Information collected through the SMS program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

21. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Site and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, void votes, or disqualify entries, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or any program-specific terms, if required by law, or to protect the Site, other users, or contest integrity.
On termination: contest entries and accrued Points are forfeited; purchased votes are forfeited without refund; membership benefits cease at the end of the paid period; and Sections 5.2, 5.3, 12, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 28 survive.
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site, all content, and all products and services made available through it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woof World disclaims all warranties, express, implied, and statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; that content or listings are accurate or complete; or that any Seller, service provider, sponsor, or rescue organization listed on the Site is suitable, qualified, or reputable. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this Section may not apply to you.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woof World and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Woof World in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100.00).
Nothing in this Section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for personal injury caused by our negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this Section may not apply to you.
24. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Woof World and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to your User Content, your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law, or your violation of any third-party right. We may assume the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with us.
25. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
25.1 Informal Resolution First
Before starting an arbitration, you agree to send a written notice of dispute to legal@woofworld.com describing the claim and the relief sought, and to allow sixty (60) days for the parties to attempt to resolve it informally.
25.2 Binding Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site that is not resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Arbitration is conducted by a neutral arbitrator, there is no judge or jury, and review of an arbitration award is limited. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Section.
YOU AND WOOF WORLD AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding.
25.3 Exceptions
Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights.
25.4 Opt-Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@woofworld.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name, the email address on your account, and your intent to opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
26. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute not subject to arbitration under Section 25, and for any action to enforce an arbitration award, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
27. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version number and effective date at the top of this page and retain prior versions in an accessible archive.
For material changes, we will provide at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice by email to the address on your account or by prominent notice on the Site before the changes take effect. Material changes do not apply retroactively and do not apply to any dispute of which we had notice before the effective date. If you do not agree to a material change, you may close your account before it takes effect; continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Changes to Section 25 will not apply to any dispute for which a notice of dispute was submitted before the change took effect.
28. General Provisions
28.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any program-specific terms referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and Woof World regarding the Site and supersede all prior understandings.
28.2 Severability
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. If the class action waiver in Section 25.2 is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court and the remainder of Section 25 will continue to apply to all other claims.
28.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
28.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
28.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, outages, labor disputes, or governmental action.
28.6 No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms create no rights in any third party, except that the persons and entities named in Sections 23 and 24 may enforce those Sections.
28.7 Headings and Interpretation
Headings are for convenience only. “Including” means “including without limitation.” These Terms will not be construed against either party as drafter.
28.8 U.S. Focus
The Site is operated from the United States and directed to United States residents. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
29. Accessibility
We are working to make the Site accessible to all users, consistent with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. If you encounter a barrier, contact support@woofworld.com and we will work to provide the information or transaction you need through an alternative method. Our Accessibility Statement describes our approach in more detail.
